Threats to a Welcoming Kitsap
ADDENDUM: Just a few week after this report was issued, the Kitsap Patriots Tea Party re-branded itself as the Puget Sound Patriots with an aim of expanding its activities across Western Puget Sound. By all evidence, the group’s political ideology and goals remain the same as described in this report. Read more about this re-branding, see: https://new.irehr.org/2020/01/23/kitsap-patriots-tea-party-rebrands-continues-same-old-politics/. Also following the release of this report, the Northwest Front moved its P.O. Box from Bremerton to Seattle, Washington – a reflection of leadership changes in the wake of founder Harold Covington’s July 2018 death. The Northwest Front continues to have activists in Kitsap County.
IREHR will have more to say about these developments in the near future.
