IREHR Speaks To Christian Clergy
On February 14, 2017, Leonard Zeskind was invited to speak to a group of 45 Christian ministers gathered in Johnson County, Kansas. He began with a description of white supremacy, explained that movement’s transformation into white nationalism, analyzed the rise of the Tea Parties as the vehicles used to “win back their country,” and concluded his 40-minute speech with discussion of the current situation. About a half-dozen ministers raised their hands when asked if they had attended the women’s march.
